What you see is what you get at BabyLoop. The baby products listed on the site are really the products you get. It works simply. Choose the baby items you would like to borrow, for how long you would like your subscription to run and in what price category you would like to do so. For each baby product, you can choose from two price ranges: New and Refurbished.

2. Schedule delivery

You choose where and when you want the baby stuff delivered! Once you have chosen the products, proceed to checkout. On this page there is a field ‘delivery date’. This is where you enter the date you want your baby items delivered. We recommend that families have the items delivered to their homes one to two weeks before the due date. You can order your selected baby products far in advance, then we will reserve them for you and you can be sure that you will receive the products on time.

Orders at Babyloop

For small orders it is advantageous (& environmentally conscious) to pick up the package yourself, this way you pay no shipping costs. Please indicate in your payment notes when you want to pick up your order in Amsterdam, and we will make sure your package is ready for you. When you order you pay directly for the first month’s rental of the baby products. The next payment takes place 1 month after delivery has taken place. So suppose you place your order on April 10 for May 3. Then the next payment takes place on June 3.

3. Send products back

You can decide monthly whether you still want to keep or return your rented baby products. The first step is to cancel. To cancel, send an email, app, or contact us through the contact form. Cancel at least 1 day before the end of the monthly period for the following month. You have a 1 month’s notice period. So if your monthly subscription renews on the 15th of the month, make sure you cancel your subscription before the 14th. To relieve you of any worries and avoid unnecessary costs, you will receive a monthly overview of your rented products as a reminder that your subscription is still ongoing.

Should you no longer need the baby products, there are three ways to return them.


Self return

You can return it yourself free of charge at our BabyLoop location: Vrijheidslaan 55-hs 1079 KE Amsterdam 09.00-18.30u


Have it picked up by DHL

DHL will pick up the baby gear from you for €14.90 between 9am-6pm on a day that is convenient for you.


Drop off at PostNL point

Deliver your package to one of the ~4,000 PostNL service points. Of course preferably in the original packaging, that way we waste less!


Baby products are passed from family to family. We do this to ensure that baby gear is used to its fullest potential, to give the products multiple lives and thus reduce our carbon impact. When the products are returned they are screened, thoroughly cleaned and any refurbishments pass on to the next family. When they are no longer suitable for reuse through the BabyLoop platform, the products are screened for recycling or donated to charity, for example, BabyBullenbank Foundation.
