Nimbel is the comfortable baby carrier that does not burden your back and shoulders. This is due to the special patented Exoframe Technology™️ that has been used in this baby carrier. Stefan van Cleef, chief designer at NIMBEL: “We have developed the NIMBEL in such a way that the shoulder straps are in principle not necessary to carry the child. But for extra safety and for a comfortable position of the baby’s head, we recommend using the shoulder straps.

Designed to be light and safe to wear

The NIMBEL is a 3-in-1 carrier. You can carry the baby front, back and facing forward. The strong and light Exoframe shifts the baby’s weight to the hips instead of the shoulders and back. This reduces the burden on the shoulder straps. Super handy, so you can wear it lighter and longer, and therefore discover more.

1. The design of the Exoframe shifts the weight to your hips, instead of your back and shoulders. In addition, it creates an optimal ergonomic M-position for your child.
2. The frame creates a sturdy seat. Now you have two hands free to hold your baby and put it safely in the bag.
3. The hip belt optimally supports the hips, even when you are recovering from pelvic instability or a caesarean section. The back support provides comfort and stability in the lower back.

65% less muscle activity

The Nimbel carrier was developed in collaboration with physiotherapists. Measurement results show that the NIMBEL baby carrier caused the lowest back strain, with up to 65% less muscle activity when carrying a 7 kilo doll. In contrast to the other baby carriers, the load on the back was hardly higher when carrying this doll in the NIMBEL baby carrier compared to simply standing unloaded.

Newborn insert

To carry your child safely, the nose and mouth must always be free and visible. You can add an insert for the little ones in the NIMBEL carrier. This cushion raises your baby’s sitting position for even more comfortable carrying. For babies under size 62 we recommend using the Newborn Insert.
